VersusMedia was founded by Ryan Vinson in 1999 after he worked for a number of dot-com companies across the US.

Simply put, we thrive best when we are working on the cutting-edge of the next technologies. During the past five years, we have been deep in the trenches of the next big thing, AI. We've created solutions for AI-based sentiment analysis that was fine-tuned for specific keywords and phrases using large sets of customer data including scraping and scanning chat conversations, meeting transcripts, and more.

We've created methods using AI to calculate audience measurements and TV ratings with real-time data modeling. This technology has provided accurate and up-to-date viewership insights. Through these tactics, content creators have gained actionable audience data to better understand performance, inform media buys, and drive strategic decisions across platforms.

We've used AI to help automate dozens of production and marketing tasks, analyze up-to-date product reviews for the best deals, as well as create dynamic, imaginative, and interactive stories that the visitor can interact with.

Technology Team

Our founder, Ryan, acts as a fractional CTO and uses a swat team approach to each project, and expands his team only when it is necessary using a roster of remote developers and support staff. Ryan, as an individual, is available for remote projects and contracts as a fractional CTO & Principal Engineer. VersusMedia, as a team, is available for your full-service digital agency needs.

VersusMedia Film

Ryan distributes and Executive produces films under our partner site: VersusMedia. Since 2001, we have been helping independent filmmakers and musicians work together. From 2001-2009, VersusMedia helped over 1,000 indie films worldwide find music for their films. Many filmmakers and musicians went on to have successful careers due this service.
